Teach your dog DROP IT without food

A fun way to teach your dog the DROP IT cue. When not training, place the drop it toys in a hidden location. Bring them out only for training time. Also, I noticed that my drop it cue was late. Dewey was already dropping the toy before I gave the cue - this makes videoing yourself training your dog instrumental in improving your skills so I do encourage everyone to do this. Once the cue is added and your dog is performing well, practice this skill in different locations and transfer the skill to different objects.
